Royal Court Dates and Times

It should be noted that the Friday Ordinary Courts do not appear on the list as they are held on every working Friday throughout the year. The Friday Ordinary Courts begin at 9.30 am. The Civil Interlocutory Court usually follows at approximately 10.00 am.

For all matters coming into the Court there are deadlines for the lodging/filing of papers:-

Monday Full Court - 4.00 pm on the Thursday preceding the Court

Tuesday Ordinary Court - 4.00 pm on the Thursday preceding the Court

Friday Ordinary Court - 4.00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the Court

Civil Interlocutory Court - 4.00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the Court

Matrimonial Court - 12.00 noon on the Thursday preceding the Court for all provisional orders. For all other matrimonial business the deadline is 12.00 noon on the Tuesday preceding the Court date.

Matrimonial Interlocutory Court - Provisional divorce applications by 12.00 noon on the Thursday preceding the Court; all other applications by 12.00 noon on the preceding Tuesday.

Domestic Proceedings - 12.00 noon on the preceding Friday.
